FinMin meets SCB CEO, discusses bank's expansion in Pakistan

January 24, 2025 (MLN): The longstanding partnership between Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) and Pakistan, along with its contributions to the country’s financial sector, was acknowledged by the Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb.

During a meeting with Bill Winters, Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB), Muhammad Aurangzeb discussed the bank’s existing operations in Pakistan and potential opportunities for its expansion.

This discussion took place on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos, according to a press release issued today.
