Finance bill process to be completed very soon for final approval: Shaukat Tarin

Jan 03, 2022: Federal Minister for Finance Shaukat Tarin on Sunday said the government would get finance bill passed from the National Assembly very soon after which it would be presented in Senate for final process.

Talking to a private news channel, the minister said new taxation would be adjustable and refundable.

He said the government was taking steps for the proper documentation of national economy for future taxation and productions of the different commodities.

The minister said the prices of commodities would be reduced soon as the government has enhanced the volume of taxation on luxury items to provide the relief to common masses.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic most of the countries were faced inflation issue but now the issue was being controlled gradually.

The government was taking various measures to control the depreciation of national currency.

The Act of State Bank would be presented in the Senate for approval but it will take sometime for final approval.

He said the exports of the country were being increased day by day from the last six month, he added.
