Federal Government to construct 7 mini Hydel power stations in tribal areas

The federal government will construct seven mini Hydel power stations in tribal areas at a cost of about Rs 1 billion.

According to sources of FATA Development Authority, these stations will be constructed at Kurram, North and South Waziristan agencies by the end of next year.

Tenders for the projects have already been floated. On completion, these stations will generate 2.8MW electricity.
