Govt to attract foreign investment in country

December 1, 2022 (MLN): Federal government is taking all necessary steps to attract foreign investment in the country and will work for relief and rehabilitation in flood-affected areas in Sindh province, a press release issued by Finance Division on Thursday showed.

A meeting was held between Finance Minister Ishaq Dar with Governor Sindh Mr. Kamran Khan Tessori at Governor House.

Both sides exchanged views on the current political situation and issues of mutual interest including relief and rehabilitation work in flood-affected areas in Sindh province.

During the meeting, measures related to ease of doing business and improving investment climate also came under discussion.

They also discussed the economic outlook of the country and the pace of development work in Sindh province.

Finance Minister further extended full support and cooperation of the federal government in the relief and rehabilitation of the flood-affected people and for the development of the province.
