Federal employees to get salaries early for Eid

March 13, 2025 (MLN): The federal government has decided to disburse salaries and pensions to federal government employees and pensioners before Eid-ul-Fitr.

According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, salaries and pensions for March 2025 will be paid on March 27, 2025.

The Ministry of Finance has directed the Controller General of Accounts to make the necessary arrangements for timely disbursement. Eid-ul-Fitr is expected to be observed on March 31 or April 1, 2025, depending on the sighting of the moon.

In light of this, the government has decided to release payments in advance.
