FBR to hold press conference after budget announcement

June 09, 2023 (MLN): The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will hold a press conference after half an hour following the announcement of the budget for FY24, explaining the measures announced.
The Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar will present the budget for the fiscal year 2023-24 today, June 09, 2023, at 4:00 pm at Parliament House, Islamabad.
Ishaq Dar also called the meeting of the federal cabinet on the same day at 11:00 am to get the approval of the budget from Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
It is important to note that this is the second federal budget of the coalition government.
