EPQL in talks with Energy Task Force to revise Power Purchase Agreement

February 14, 2025 (MLN): Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited (PSX: EPQL) is in discussions with the Energy Task Force Committee to alter its existing contractual arrangements, including the Power Purchase Agreement, along with other 2002 policy IPPs.

The negotiations are expected to be finalized during Q1 2025, and it is anticipated that the changes will be procedurally effective from 1st Nov 2024.

EPQL is a subsidiary of Engro Energy Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Engro Corporation Limited.

Engro Corporation Limited is a subsidiary of Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited (the Ultimate Parent Company).

EPQL was established with the primary objective to undertake the business of power generation and sale.
