Elahi Cotton Mills halts production for ten days

October 16, 2023 (MLN): The board of directors (BoD) of Elahi Cotton Mills Limited on Monday decided to close the production activities of the Mills for ten days with effect from October 16, 2023, the company's filing on PSX revealed today.

This closure is due to severe recession in local and international markets with regard to demand and rate of polyester and yarn.

The principal business of the company is the manufacture and sale of yarn.
