ECC to revise gas price for fertilizer

October 03, 2023 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, in its meeting which is scheduled to be held today at 1630 hours, will discuss the revision of the fertilizer gas sale prices in the context of Mari Wellhead gas pricing.

The committee will also change the name of Tuwariqi Steel Mills Limited (TSML) to National Steel Complex Ltd (NSCL).

In addition, measures to meet the requirement of Urea fertilizer for Rabi Season 2023-24 will also be reviewed.

The meeting will likely approve the draft telecom infrastructure sharing.

The establishment of the National Credit Guarantee Company (NCGC) will also be discussed.

The meeting will be chaired by the Caretaker Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Dr. Shamshad Akhtar
