January 20, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet is scheduled to take place today, wherein the following important agenda points will be discussed.

Report on Proposed Exemption of 5% sales tax on Cotton Seed Cake
Request for Conversion of Lahore Garment Company’s Cash Development Loan into Grant
Approval of Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) of Rs 96.652 million of National Book Foundation in favour of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
Technical Supplementary Grant Amounting to Rs 15,183,790 for Centralized Procurement of ICT Infrastructure to ensure E-Readiness of the federal government for implantation of E-Government program.
Sovereign Guarantees.
Technical Supplementary Grant amounting to Rs 458.077 million under Demand NO. 073- other Expenditure of Interior Division for payment of Troop Cost/Subsistence Allowance to Personnel of CAF’s Deployed in UN Peacekeeping Missions.
