ECC to discuss exemption of 5% sales tax on cotton seed cake

January 20, 2020 (MLN): A meeting of Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet is scheduled to take place today, wherein the following important agenda points will be discussed.

• Report on Proposed Exemption of 5% sales tax on Cotton Seed Cake
• Request for Conversion of Lahore Garment Company’s Cash Development Loan into Grant
• Approval of Technical Supplementary Grant (TSG) of Rs 96.652 million of National Book Foundation in favour of the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training.
• Technical Supplementary Grant Amounting to Rs 15,183,790 for Centralized Procurement of ICT Infrastructure to ensure E-Readiness of the federal government for implantation of E-Government program.
• Sovereign Guarantees.
• Technical Supplementary Grant amounting to Rs 458.077 million under Demand NO. 073- other Expenditure of Interior Division for payment of Troop Cost/Subsistence Allowance to Personnel of CAF’s Deployed in UN Peacekeeping Missions.
