ECC approves revised gas prices for FY24

October 31, 2023 (MLN): The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Monday approved the revised natural gas sale pricing for different categories of consumers for the FY24, w.e.f. November 01, 2023, said a press release issued on the same day.

The summary was submitted by the Ministry of Energy (Petroleum Division) regarding the revision of the natural gas sale pricing.

To note, the ECC earlier on October 23, 2023, considered the summary submitted by the Petroleum Division and approved the increase in the natural gas prices.

However, the Federal Cabinet in its meeting held on October 30, 2023, referred back the summary for reconsideration of the ECC.

Accordingly, the ECC in its meeting held yesterday, approved the revised natural gas prices.
