In a ceremony held at Islamabad International Airport, Air Vice Marshal Zeeshan Saeed, Director General, Pakistan Airports Authority, graced the event as the chief guest.

The ceremony was also attended by easypaisa’s leadership, including Farhan Hassan, Chief Digital Officer, and Shahzad Khan, Chief Business Officer, along with dignitaries and stakeholders from the Pakistan Airports Authority and Islamabad Airport management.

As part of the digitization drive, easypaisa has deployed QR codes across major consumer touchpoints, enabling the airport’s millions of annual visitors to make seamless QR and digital wallet-based payments.

Digitizing Islamabad International Airport, the gateway to the nation’s capital, will go a long way in advancing financial inclusion and enabling a digital-first ecosystem. Today, is not just a launching of a digital payment solution, but a gateway to Pakistan’s digital future, he added.
