Domestic bullion cools off, with 24-karat gold settling at Rs237,200

May 23, 2023 (MLN): Domestic bullion cooled off on Tuesday, with 24-karat gold settling at Rs237,200 per tola, decreasing by Rs100.

According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 10-gram 24-karat gold reached Rs203,361 per tola, deflating by Rs85.

While 10-gram 22-karat gold stood at Rs186,414, dipping by Rs79.

On the other hand, the price of silver remained flat in the domestic market, with 24-karat silver closing at Rs2,900 per tola, and 10-gram 24-karat silver closing at Rs2,486 per tola.

Meanwhile, international spot gold is currently trading at $1970.37 increasing by 0.05% on the day.

Notably, international spot gold dipped throughout the Asia trading session today, but all the losses were erased in the past 2 hours in the New York trading session, gaining almost 1%.

International spot silver is currently trading at $23.58, down 0.02% on the day.
