Dollar increases by 49 paisa in interbank, closes at Rs 140.78

March 29, 2019: The exchange rate of Dollar increased by 49 paisa in interbank and traded at Rs 140.78 against Rs 140.29, State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) reported on Friday. However, according to Forex Association of Pakistan, the open market rate of Dollar closed at Rs 141.80.

The price of Euro increased by 16 paisa after which it was traded at Rs 158.04, against Rs 157.88 on last day.

The price of Japanese yen remained unchanged after which it was traded at Rs 1.27.

On the other hand, the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs 1.15 in exchange rate after which it was traded at Rs 183.40 against the last closing of Rs 184.55.

Exchange rates of UAE Dirham and Saudi Rayal increased by 13 paisa each after which they were traded at Rs 38.32 and Rs 37.53 against Rs 38.19 and Rs 37.40 respectively.
