May 07, 2025 (MLN): China has expressed concern over India's unprovoked attacks on Pakistan, calling the military operation “regrettable.”

In a statement from Beijing on Wednesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lin Jian said China views the Indian military action carried out in the morning as unfortunate and troubling.

He stated that China is concerned about the current situation, noting that India and Pakistan are not only neighbors to each other but also to China.

Emphasizing China's opposition to all forms of terrorism, the spokesperson urged both nations to prioritize peace and stability.

Lin Jian called on India and Pakistan to stay calm, exercise restraint, and avoid actions that could further escalate the conflict.
