Central Bank to announce policy rates next week: Envoy

November 22, 2018 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan is expected to announce the policy rates next week, reliable sources within the central bank informed Mettis Link News. “A meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee is expected to take place in the last week of November, following which the results will be announced on the same day as the meeting.”

The Monetary Policy Committee of the SBP announced the current rates on September 29, 2018, when they decided to increase the policy rate by 100 bps to 8.50 percent.
