BYD launches Seal, Atto 3 in Pakistan

October 25, 2024 (MLN): Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD has launched the BYD Seal and BYD Atto 3 in Pakistan, PakWheels, Pakistan's automobile website said.

The BYD Seal Dynamic model goes for an ex-showroom price of Rs14.79 million, while the BYD Atto 3 Advance model goes for Rs8.9m, PakWheels said.

The BYD Seal has a battery capacity of 82.56 kWh and offers a range of 650 km.

It features a Blade Battery, enabling the four-wheel drive version to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds.

High-speed charging is efficient and convenient, It supports BYD SEAL to charge from 30% to 80% within 30 minutes, and enables BYD SEAL to accelerate from 0-100km/h within 3.8 seconds (for performance variant only), according to the company's website.

Meanwhile, the BYD Atto 3 has a battery capacity of 49.92 kWh and offers a range of 410 km, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.

It is also equipped with Blade Battery, supporting BYD Atto 3 to charge from 30% to 80% within 30 minutes.

BYD sold 412,202 Yuan Plus Evs—known as the Atto 3 in overseas markets— in 2023, with 100,020 of them exported, or 42% of its total car exports for that year, according to Reuters.
