June 29, 2021 (MLN): The Board of Directors of BIPL Securities Limited has approved the transfer of 77,117,500/- shares (representing 77.12% share capital) of the Company held by BankIslami Pakistan Limited to AKD Securities Limited.

As a result of the aforesaid transfer, the Company is now a subsidiary of AKD Securities Limited and the aforementioned acquisition now stands complete in accordance with necessary approvals, permissions and regulatory requirements, including approval granted by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (the SECP) vide its letter dated April 06, 2021, the notice to PSX said.
