Big Bird Foods signs export agreement with Alibaba

June 04, 2025 (MLN): Big Bird Foods Limited (PSX: BBFL) has entered into a strategic agreement with Alibaba Group, the world’s leading e-commerce and technology conglomerate.

The agreement grants BBFL direct export access to Alibaba’s global B2B e-commerce platforms, including Alibaba.com, the notification issued to the local bourse.

This will enable BBFL to showcase and sell its poultry and processed food products to verified buyers across more than 190 countries and regions.

The collaboration marks a significant milestone in BBFL’s international expansion strategy, giving the company a gateway to the global poultry meat market, which is estimated to exceed $350 billion annually.

As part of the partnership, BBFL will benefit from access to Alibaba’s B2B buyer networks, global sourcing tools, participation in online trade fairs and promotional events, enhanced logistics for cross-border trade, and market intelligence support.

The agreement is expected to increase BBFL’s export revenues, strengthen its international brand presence, and drive long-term value for shareholders.
