AKD Securities, Munir Khanani Securities, Arif Habib lead November's top 10 brokers

December 15, 2023 (MLN): AKD Securities Limited (AKDSL), Munir Khanani Securities Limited, and Arif Habib Limited (AHL) emerged as the top three brokers among the recipients of the 'Top 10 Brokers with Most Active Accounts' for the month of November, as revealed in a notice issued by the local bourse today.
The next on the list was JS Global Capital Limited and BMA Capital Management Limited, ranking fourth and fifth among the top brokers.
Ktrade Securities Limited, Foundation Securities (Pvt.) Limited, and MRA Securities Limited secured the 6th, 7th, and 8th positions, respectively.
Additionally, Darson Securities Private Limited and IGI Finex Securities Limited occupied the last two spots among the top 10 brokers.

PSX also extended congratulations to the Securities Brokers for participating in the first primary market auction of the GoP Ijarah Sukuk (GIS) conducted through the Stock Exchange and the capital market ecosystem, dated December 08, 2023.
It is crucial to mention that the local bourse secured Rs478.78 billion in bids for inaugural 1-year GIS Auction.
Out of the total bids received, the total amount accepted stood at Rs36.068bn at a cut-off yield of 19.52%.
It is important to mention that the target for the auction through PSX was to raise a total of Rs30bn.
To recall, the Ministry of Finance (MoF) approved some amendments to the rules governing the issuance, registration, trading, and transfer of GDS through the Capital Market Infrastructure Institutions (CMIIs) such as the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), National Clearing and Settlement Company of Pakistan (NCCPL), and Central Depository Company of Pakistan (CDC).
