February 10, 2026 (MLN): Zong has partnered with the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication (MoITT) for Indus AI Week 2026, Pakistan’s national initiative on artificial intelligence.

The partnership positions the company among key participants shaping the country’s AI policy, infrastructure, and adoption roadmap.

The two-day event is scheduled for February 9–10 at the Indus Innovation, Learning & Engagement Arena (Sports Complex, Islamabad), according to the press release.

It brings together local and international AI experts, industry participants, and government leadership to discuss the role of artificial intelligence in Pakistan’s economic and digital development.

Under the partnership, Zong will present a range of AI-driven platforms, products, and digital services aimed at supporting AI deployment across consumer, enterprise, and institutional use cases.

The showcase includes AI solutions such as Z-AIVA, Zong A-EYE, OZ GPT, the My Zong App, gaming platforms, and other digital ecosystems, showing the company’s focus on integrating AI into networks, services, and applications.

A central element of Zong’s participation is the planned unveiling of Z-Smart Hub, which combines Z-SAIS Cloud and DICT to support secure and scalable digital services.

The company will also display AI-enabled devices, including next-generation ZTE smartphones and smart glasses, highlighting the growing role of AI-supported hardware in Pakistan’s digital ecosystem.

Zong’s involvement is supported by China Mobile’s technology capabilities in areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, big data, and next-generation networks.

The collaboration aligns with national efforts to encourage responsible and inclusive AI adoption, as Pakistan explores the use of emerging technologies to enhance productivity, innovation, and digital sovereignty.

Commenting on the partnership, Zong Chairman and CEO Huo Junli said artificial intelligence has become a key factor in economic competitiveness and national development.

He added that the collaboration aims to contribute to building an AI ecosystem that supports long-term value creation for Pakistan.

Through its participation in Indus AI Week 2026, Zong is positioning itself as a digital enabler within Pakistan’s evolving technology landscape.

This came as policymakers and industry players assess how artificial intelligence can support a transition toward a higher-value, technology-driven economy.
