Trump warns Israel over ceasefire violation

June 24, 2025 (MLN): U.S. President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Israel via his Truth Social platform, cautioning the country against launching strikes amid a newly announced ceasefire with Iran.

“ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!” he wrote on Truth Social., urging restraint following his earlier declaration of a truce between the two nations.

The ceasefire, which came into effect early Tuesday morning, was reportedly accepted by both sides.

Israel confirmed its agreement to the U.S.-proposed truce, while Iran stated it would halt attacks provided Israel did the same.

Shortly after the ceasefire was implemented, Israel’s military claimed it had intercepted a missile launched by Iran.

However, Tehran denied carrying out any fresh attacks, further adding tension to the fragile situation.
