December 03, 2025 (MLN):  Toyota has rolled out one of its most aggressive price reductions to date, rolling back the cost of its Fortuner lineup in a surprising shake-up of Pakistan’s premium SUV market.

The company has introduced a limited-time campaign that dramatically lowers ex-factory prices of the Fortuner’s popular variants an unusual move in a segment where prices typically trend upward.

Under the “Built to be Unbeatable” initiative, Toyota has cut over Rs2.5 million on both the Fortuner G and Fortuner V:

  • Fortuner G: down from Rs14,939,000 to Rs12,435,000
  • Fortuner V: reduced from Rs17,509,000 to Rs14,935,000

These reductions pull the SUVs well below their earlier base prices, offering a rare moment of relief for buyers who have weathered years of steady price hikes in the auto industry, as reported by PakWheels.

The timing is significant. Pakistan’s automotive sector continues to battle slow sales amid high inflation, costly financing, and a depreciating currency.

Toyota’s dramatic cuts could inject new energy into the segment and potentially redirect buyers who were previously leaning toward smaller or mid-tier SUVs.

Known for its rugged build, off-road capability, and dependable resale value, the Fortuner now enters a more competitive bracket one that may widen its appeal to a broader set of consumers.

Toyota has emphasized that the offer is both time-bound and restricted by available stock, urging interested customers to act quickly as part of its 35th-anniversary celebrations in the country.

The anniversary campaign not only commemorates Toyota’s 35 years in Pakistan but also signals a bold shift in how the brand aims to position its flagship SUV in a challenging market.
