Thatta Cement subsidiary secures deal for BELARUS tractor assembly rights in Balochistan

October 20, 2025 (MLN): Thatta Cement Company Limited’s (PSX: THCCL) wholly owned subsidiary, Minsk Work Tractor & Assembling (Private) Limited has entered into an exclusive agreement with OJSC Minsk Tractor Works, Republic of Belarus, marking a major step toward establishing local tractor production capabilities in Balochistan Province.

Under the terms of the exclusive arrangement, OJSC Minsk Tractor Works has granted MWTA the sole rights to assemble BELARUS tractors within the Province of Balochistan, according to the company's statement issued today.

This partnership represents a strategic initiative aimed at promoting local industrial development while creating employment opportunities and facilitating technology transfer to the region.

The establishment of a local tractor assembly facility is expected to address the agricultural machinery needs of Balochistan while contributing to the broader industrialization efforts in the province.

The agreement signifies a major strategic development for the Company's subsidiary. Management indicated that the venture is anticipated to positively impact the long-term growth trajectory and diversification of the Thatta Cement Group's business portfolio.
