December 31, 2025 (MLN): Supernet Limited (PSX:GEMSPNL), one of Pakistan’s longest-established ICT and connectivity providers, has rebrand to Supernet Global.

Alongside this, is a strategy in plan to expand selectively into high-growth international digital markets across the Middle East, Africa, and Central Asia positioning the company to tap global demand while exporting Pakistan-origin digital and ICT services.

The move comes as ICT spending across the Middle East and Africa exceeds $230–250 billion annually, driven by large-scale government digitalization, cybersecurity investment, cloud adoption, and enterprise modernization, according to a press release issued.

Cybersecurity spending alone across the region is projected to rise into the tens of billions of dollars over the coming decade.

In parallel, the global satellite communications market, a core Supernet strength, is valued at $90–108bn in 2024–25 and is forecast to grow significantly by 2030, with Middle East satellite revenues expected to exceed $5bn by the end of the decade.

Founded in 1995, Supernet has built nearly 30 years of experience delivering mission-critical ICT, satellite connectivity, and managed services to banking, energy, telecom, government, and large enterprise clients.

Under the SupernetGlobal identity, the company will export this expertise internationally, contributing to Pakistan’s growing IT and services exports and supporting inflows of foreign exchange through regional contracts and cross-border service delivery.

Dubai will serve as SupernetGlobal’s first regional hub, leveraging the company’s UAE subsidiary, Phoenix Global FZE, operational since 2018.

From Dubai, SupernetGlobal will serve enterprise, carrier, and institutional clients across multiple regions, while technical delivery, engineering, and managed services capabilities will continue to be anchored in Pakistan strengthening the country’s role as a digital services export base.

SupernetGlobal’s international portfolio includes cybersecurity services, cloud and data solutions, managed ICT services, smart and IoT platforms, enterprise connectivity through local partnerships, and satellite-based connectivity.

Satellite services will remain central to its global strategy, enabling scalable cross-border delivery in aviation, maritime, energy, remote operations, and underserved geographies.

The company describes its expansion as measured and partner-driven, focusing on sustainable growth rather than rapid scale.

This approach reflects regulatory realities in international markets and emphasizes collaboration with licensed local operators and system integrators.

Commenting on the rebrand, the company stated “SupernetGlobal represents our ambition to participate meaningfully in global digital markets while exporting Pakistani expertise, talent, and technology.

This strategy allows us to grow internationally while contributing to Pakistan’s IT exports and long-term foreign exchange earnings.”

The company confirmed that all existing operations and customer commitments in Pakistan remain unchanged.
