Stylers International H1 profit rises 8%

February 26, 2026 (MLN): Stylers International Limited (PSX: STYLERS) reported a net profit of Rs550.38 million for the half year ended December 31, 2025, up 7.98% from Rs509.69m recorded in the same period last year.

Earnings per share rose to Rs1.13 from Rs1.05 in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The board also declared an interim cash dividend of 2.5% (Rs0.25 per share) for the period.

Net sales declined 7.63% to Rs9.30bn from Rs10.06bn in H1 FY2025, cost of sales fell 9.45% to Rs7.54bn from Rs8.32bn.

This resulted in gross profit edging up 1.03% to Rs1.76bn from Rs1.74bn in the prior period, distribution costs declined sharply by 34.10% to Rs330.70m from Rs501.85m.

Administrative expenses rose 9.14% to Rs295.90m from Rs271.11m, pointing to higher overhead and personnel costs.

Other expenses eased 5.15% to Rs76.50m from Rs80.65m, bringing combined administrative and other expenses to Rs372.40m, compared to Rs351.76m in H1 FY2025, an increase of 5.87%.

Other income declined 7.47% to Rs105.94m from Rs114.49m, providing a somewhat softer cushion compared to the prior period, though still contributing positively to the operating result.

Operating profit came in at Rs1.16bn, rising 15.95% from Rs1.00bn in H1 FY2025, financial and other charges rose 10.92% to Rs200.81m from Rs181.04m.

Profit before taxation grew 17.06% to Rs961.38m from Rs821.30m in H1 FY2025, taxation charges increased 31.89% to Rs410.99m from Rs311.61m.

Total comprehensive profit for the period stood at Rs550.38m against Rs509.69m in H1 FY2025, marking a solid year-on-year improvement and emphasizing the company's ability to sustain and grow earnings in a tough operating climate.
