Sazgar brings ARCFOX T5 REEV to Pakistan at Rs10.2m

October 05, 2026 (MLN): Sazgar has introduced the ARCFOX T5 REEV, a range-extended electric SUV, in Pakistan, with bookings now open at Rs10.195 million for the standard variant and Rs10.495 million for the Apex trim, following its debut at the PakWheels New Wheels Expo 2026 in Karachi.
The T5 is among the first ARCFOX models to be brought to the
country by the company. It enters the market as range-extended electric
vehicles (REEVs) carve out their own space locally. The SUV is propelled by an
electric motor, while its petrol engine serves as a generator to extend driving
range.
The Apex variant costs Rs300,000 more than the standard
trim. Buyers must pay a booking amount of Rs2.05 million for the standard
variant and Rs2.1 million for the Apex, with deliveries expected in three to
four months.

Both variants share the same powertrain, producing 268hp and
365Nm of torque, paired with a 27.4kWh battery. The company claims a
pure-electric range of 193km on the NEDC cycle and a combined range of 1,060km.
DC fast charging from 20% to 80% is said to take under 15 minutes, although
actual speeds depend on charger output, battery temperature and operating
conditions.

The difference between the two variants lies in equipment
rather than performance. Features include a glass roof and an 18-speaker sound
system, while the Apex adds front-row massage seats.
The REEV layout is aimed at easing concerns over reliance on
public charging during long intercity trips, as owners can use electric power
for routine journeys and the petrol generator for longer ones. However, the
setup brings greater mechanical complexity than a pure EV, as it retains an
engine, fuel system and battery.
Efficiency gains will depend on how often the vehicle is
charged and how much driving stays within the electric-only range.
The T5's closest rival is the Deepal S05 REEV, which sits in
a similar price and specification bracket. Buyers are advised to confirm final
on-road charges, registration and applicable taxes with authorised dealerships
at the time of booking.
