October 29, 2026 (MLN): Chinese automaker JETOUR has showcased its off-road vehicle capabilities and outdoor travel technologies through real-world driving challenges in Moganshan, Zhejiang Province, as part of its “Travel+” strategy to integrate mobility with outdoor experiences.

The event, held last week during the 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, featured the company’s T2 and G700 models on a 15-kilometer course comprising water crossings, gravel roads, steep inclines and crater-like obstacles.

Media representatives, key opinion leaders and users from different countries participated in the drive, testing the vehicles across varied terrain and outdoor activities designed to demonstrate their capabilities in practical travel conditions, as reported by APP.

Beyond off-road performance, JETOUR highlighted features intended to support camping, road trips and long-distance journeys.

At a dedicated campsite, participants explored flexible storage arrangements and vehicle-to-load (V2L) technology, which powered coffee-grinding equipment without an external electricity source.

A simulated roadside recovery exercise also demonstrated the towing capabilities of the F700, showcasing its potential use in overcoming obstacles and towing trailers during outdoor excursions.

The company also presented its 7+X intelligent off-road system, which enables drivers to select specialized driving functions through a dedicated control. Visual artificial intelligence (AI) and chassis sensors work together to recognize terrain and support adjustments to driving modes and torque distribution.

The G700 was tested on challenging formations, including camel-hump structures and crater-like surfaces. The model features the GAIA all-terrain intelligent platform, a hybrid powertrain, three differential locks, air suspension and terrain-recognition capabilities, designed to combine off-road performance with passenger comfort.

Following the driving activities, the Starlight Forum brought together international participants to discuss evolving travel requirements and future mobility trends.

Ke Chuandeng, president of JETOUR International, and Yan Jun, executive vice president of JETOUR International, presented awards to teams that won the driving and campsite challenges.

Discussions focused on how varying terrain, road conditions and travel habits across international markets shape demand for off-road capability, comfort and everyday practicality.

“JETOUR starts with users’ real travel needs, integrating technology, products and travel lifestyles,” Ke said.

Under its “Travel+” strategy, the company aims to develop its capabilities in outdoor and long-distance travel while strengthening the links between its vehicles, travel ecosystem and culture.

JETOUR said it would continue investing in technological innovation and product development to address changing global user needs and explore opportunities connecting mobility with outdoor lifestyles and nature.
