SG Power appoints Mr. Umer Ali Malik as CEO

April 02, 2026 (MLN): SG Power Limited (PSX:SGPL) has named Mr. Umer Ali Malik as its new Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.

The Board of Directors has mandated the newly appointed CEO to develop and present a comprehensive, future-focused business plan aimed at transitioning the Company from its current operations into a scalable, high-growth model aligned with emerging market opportunities and long-term sustainability.

Mr.Malik has also been authorized to explore strategic capital initiatives, including equity-based capital raising, strategic partnerships, and other financial structuring options to strengthen liquidity and support the Company's transformation into a profitable, growth-oriented organization.

The Board emphasized its commitment to driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and enhanced shareholder value, adding that the Company will keep the Exchange informed of all material developments going forward.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
