S.G. Power gets SECP nod for name change to Crestwell Healthcare

August 06, 2026 (MLN): S.G. Power Limited (PSX:SGPL) has secured approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) for its name change to Crestwell Healthcare Limited, with the SECP issuing the Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Company Name effective August 06, 2026.

Following the issuance of the certificate, the company has moved to inform the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) accordingly, submitting the requisite application for implementation of its new listed name, Crestwell Healthcare Limited, replacing S.G. Power Limited, in line with applicable regulatory requirements.

The company also noted that, as previously disclosed to the PSX, a separate application remains under review seeking a change in its listed sector classification from Power Generation & Distribution to Pharmaceutical, a move that forms part of its broader strategic shift toward a healthcare-focused business.

The company said it would continue to keep its shareholders and the market updated on any further material developments in this regard, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
