SECP approves New Nazimabad apartments REIT public offering

August 18, 2026 (MLN): The Securities and Exchange
Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has approved the public offering of New Nazimabad
Apartments REIT, marking the 13th public offering on the Pakistan Stock
Exchange in 2026.
More than 44 million units will be offered to investors
under the public offering.
SECP Chairman Dr. Kabir Ahmed Sidhu said the increase in
public offerings reflects the growing trend of raising capital through the
capital market.
He said a stable capital market is essential for providing
long-term financing to businesses.
Sidhu added that further measures are being taken to reduce
the time and cost of raising capital through the capital market.
