SCRA balance rises to Rs28.7bn

June 01, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs810.42 million during the week ending May 22, 2026 to close at Rs28.71 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs2.09bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs21.40bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs6.54bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs13.17bn while dividend received was Rs1.69bn.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs20.59bn.

Outward remittances were Rs9.50bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs11.08bn and total tax paid was Rs6.36m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-3.40bn, Rs34.93bn and Rs14.52bn to close at Rs593.19bn, Rs94.94bn and Rs41.40bn.
