SCRA balance rises Rs81m to Rs26.5bn

August 27, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs81.37 million during the week ending Aug 21, 2026 to close at Rs26.50 billion.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs388.90m.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs21.97bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.

Inward remittances amount was Rs5.69bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs15.52bn while dividend received was Rs757.21m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs21.89bn.

Outward remittances were Rs6.75bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs15.13bn and total tax paid was Rs5.99m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-15.75bn, Rs691.30m and Rs-124.83m to close at Rs595.10bn, Rs112.29bn and Rs33.97bn.
