SCRA balance rises Rs430m to Rs28bn

May 15, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance increased by Rs429.83 million during the week ending May 08, 2026 to close at Rs28.02 billion.
According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a
net selling of securities to the tune of Rs109.11m.
During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs16.97bn
through remittances, sale of securities and dividends.
Inward remittances amount was Rs7.97bn, sale of securities was
recorded at Rs7.99bn while dividend received was Rs1.02bn.
Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances,
purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs16.54bn.
Outward remittances were Rs5.61bn, total securities
purchased amounted to Rs7.88bn and total tax paid was Rs3.06bn.
Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS
changed by Rs15.17bn, Rs2.80bn and Rs203.91m to close at Rs623.19bn, Rs68.74bn
and Rs26.99bn.
