SCRA balance dips amid Rs5.77bn net selling

May 21, 2026 (MLN): The SCRA balance decreased by Rs118.07m during the week ending May 15, 2026 to close at Rs27.90bn.

According to data published by the SBP, the week marked a net selling of securities to the tune of Rs5.77bn.

During the week SCRA received a total inflow of Rs17.93bn through remittances, sale of securities and dividends. Inward remittances amount was Rs7.95bn, sale of securities were recorded at Rs9.02bn while dividend received was Rs964.29m.

Total outflows from SCRA through outward remittances, purchase of securities and taxes were recorded at Rs18.05bn.

Outward remittances were Rs14.80bn, total securities purchased amounted to Rs3.25bn and total tax paid was Rs2.17m.

Market value of investments made in Equity, T-Bills and PIBS changed by Rs-26.61bn, Rs-8.74bn and Rs-117.04m to close at Rs596.58bn, Rs60.00bn and Rs26.87bn.
