SBP reserves increase by $19.7m in a week

Oct 09, 2025 (MLN): Despite making substantial external debt repayments during the week, including a $500m Pakistan Sovereign Eurobond, the State Bank of Pakistan’s (SBP) foreign exchange reserves still rose by $19.7 million, reaching $14.42bn as of October 3, 2025.

Pakistan's Forex Reserves increased by $13.7m or 0.07% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $19.81bn as of October 03, 2025.

While net reserves held by Commercial banks decreased by $6m during the week.
