SBP reserves rise by $17m

May 14, 2026 (MLN): The foreign exchange reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) increased by $16.7 million or 0.11% WoW to $15.87 billion during the week ended on May 8, 2026, data released by the State Bank of Pakistan showed on Thursday.

Similarly, the country's total reserves increased by $43.2 million or 0.20% WoW to $21.34 billion.

The reserves held by commercial banks rose by $26.5 million or 0.49% WoW to $5.47 billion.
