SBP declares Eid holidays from May 26

May 22, 2026 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan has declared that it will remain closed from May 26 to May 28, 2026 (Tuesday to Thursday) on account of public holidays for Eid-ul-Adha.

In a notice issued to all banks, DFIs, and microfinance banks, the central bank informed that all banking operations under its jurisdiction will remain suspended during the holiday period.

Regular operations are expected to resume from Friday, May 29, 2026.
