SBP Grants Scheduled Bank Status to Mashreq Bank Pakistan Limited

September 16, 2025 (MLN): The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP)
has declared Mashreq Bank Pakistan Limited
as a Scheduled Bank, effective September 15, 2025.
This follows the issuance of a Digital Retail Bank (DRB) license to the institution, under the authority granted to SBP by Section 37(2)(a) of the SBP Act, 1956.
