SBP Forex Reserves Increase by USD 27 Million

Nov 20, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan's Forex Reserves increased by USD 14.30 Million or 0.07% and the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at USD 19,738.20 Million on Nov 14, 2025.

According to data published by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) its reserves increased by USD 26.90 Million.

While net reserves held by Commercial banks decreased by USD 12.60 Million during the week.

The State Bank of Pakistan also released monthly data which shows its reserves having increased by 328.30 million to USD 14.5029 billion in October 2025 from 14.1746 billion a month ago. Compared to USD 11.2032 billion from October 2024, SBP's reserves have increased by 3,299.70 million or 29.45 percent.

Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks stood at 4.6249 billion compared to 4.7297 billion from a month ago showing a decrease of USD 104.80 million. Compared to 4.2644 from a year ago, reserves of Banks have increased by USD 360.50 million.

Total liquid foreign reserves held by the country at the end of October 2025 stood at USD 19.1278 billion compared to 18.9043 billion from the previous month showing a net increase of USD 223.50 million. Compared to the corresponding month from last year, Pakistan's total reserves increased by USD 3,660.20 million or 23.66 percent.
