SAZEW sales race ahead in June

July 05, 2024 (MLN): Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (PSX: SAZEW) reported a sharp rebound in sales for June 2025, with three-wheeler (auto rickshaw) sales climbing 28% month-on-month to 2,435 units, according to fresh production and sales data released by the company.

Compared to June last year, auto rickshaw sales surged 34%, signalling renewed consumer activity in the small vehicle segment.

Meanwhile, four-wheeler sales rose an impressive 47% MoM to 1,349 units, also marking a 55% increase on a yearly basis, driven by seasonal demand and easing liquidity pressures.

Production trends, however, were mixed: auto rickshaw output fell 24% from May to 1,420 units, while four-wheeler production edged down 6% to 985 units.
