RDA attracts $185m in July

Aug 15, 2025 (MLN): Total inflows into Roshan Digital Accounts (RDA) during July, 2025 stood at USD 185 million, bringing the total cumulative inflows into RDA to USD 10,748 million.

Compared to the previous month's inflow of USD 182.0, July showed an increase of USD 3 million.

However, according to data released by the SBP, amount repatriated and locally utilized during the month was USD 154 million showing that the Net Repatriable Liability of RDA increased by USD 31 million in July.

Amount repatriated during the month was USD 25 million while USD 129 million was utilized locally.

Total cumulative repatriation and local utilization stood at USD 8,727 million out of which USD 1,836 million has been repatriated while locally utilized amount was USD 6,891 million making the Net Repatriable Liability (NRL) USD 2,022 million or 18.81% or Total RDA.

Breakup of the NRL shows USD 479 million was still invested in Conventional Naya Pakistan Certificates (NPC), USD 936 million was in Islamic NPC, Equity investment stood at USD 75 million, Balances in Accounts was USD 486 million while Other Liabilities stood at USD 46 million.

During the month of July, 10,619 new accounts were opened taking the total number of accounts to 842,582.0.

The highest monthly inflow into RDA was recorded in June, 2021 during which inflows of USD 310 million were received.

The highest monthly repatriation and local utilization from RDA was recorded in July, 2022 during which NRL of RDA reduced by USD 330 million.
