Pakistan showcases food innovation at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 in Dubai

November 04, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan has inaugurated its pavilion at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025, one of the world’s leading food and beverage industry exhibitions, said a press release issued yesterday. 

A total of 11 Pakistani companies are showcasing their products and technologies under the umbrella of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).

The pavilion was inaugurated by Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, at a ceremony held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. He was joined by Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor, Shabbir Merchant, Chairman of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai, and Pakistani exhibitors participating in the event.

Speaking on the occasion, the Consul General said that the participating companies represent Pakistan’s growing strength in food packaging, processing, and food ingredients industries.

Out of the 11 exhibitors, seven belong to the food packaging and processing sector, while four represent the food ingredients industry.

He emphasized that the event, featuring over 2,500 exhibitors from around the globe, provides an exceptional platform for Pakistani businesses to promote innovation, sustainability, and technology-driven solutions in the food and beverage sector.

He added that Dubai’s position as a global trade hub offers Pakistani firms a valuable opportunity to connect with international buyers, explore new markets, and expand exports.

Ali Zeb Khan noted that the Commercial Section of the Consulate has extended full facilitation and support to Pakistani exhibitors to ensure their effective participation in the event.

The Pakistan Pavilion’s participation at Gulfood Manufacturing 2025 highlights the country’s growing potential in food innovation and its strategic focus on boosting value-added exports in the global food supply chain.
