Pakistan, UAE reaffirm strategic cooperation in bilateral talks

June 26, 2025 (MLN): Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening cooperation across a broad range of sectors during the Second Round of Bilateral Political Consultations held in Abu Dhabi.
The two delegations reviewed the full scope of their bilateral ties and exchanged views on regional and global developments of mutual interest.
They reiterated their shared commitment to enhanced coordination and dialogue at multilateral platforms, according to the press release issued.
Appreciating the upward trajectory of their relationship, both sides expressed satisfaction with the progress achieved through institutional frameworks such as the Joint Ministerial Commission and regular leadership-level engagements.
They agreed to sustain the momentum of high-level visits and institutional consultations, with plans to hold the next round of discussions in Islamabad on a mutually agreed date.
The Pakistani side, led by Additional Foreign Secretary (Middle East) Shehryar Akbar Khan, emphasized the importance of deepening the strong fraternal bond between the two countries.
