During the discussion, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, reviewed the strong and historic relationship between the two brotherly nations.
The also agreed to further expand collaboration in trade, investment, energy, and labor mobility, while maintaining close coordination on key regional and international issues.
The Pakistani side expressed deep appreciation for Qatar’s diplomatic leadership and its role in facilitating the landmark peace agreement signed at Sharm El-Sheikh, which has revived hope for millions of Palestinians.
Reiterating Pakistan’s principled position, it was emphasized that peace in the Middle East hinges on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state within pre-1967 borders, with Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital.
Qatar’s Amir thanked Pakistan for its steadfast support and solidarity on the Palestinian cause and voiced optimism that sustained international engagement would lead to enduring peace and stability in the region.
This marks the fourth interaction between the two leaders within a month, reflecting the growing depth of Pakistan-Qatar relations.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to broad-based strategic cooperation and to advancing mutual interests in energy, investment, and regional peace.
