PSX carries out re-composition of JS Momentum Factor Index

September 04, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has carried out the re-composition of the JS Momentum Factor Index (JSMFI) as of August 31, 2026, in accordance with the relevant index rules, resulting in five incoming and five outgoing companies, with the changes set to take effect from Monday, September 07, 2026.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited, Thatta Cement Company Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited, and Sui Southern Gas Company Limited have been inducted into the index, replacing Ghandhara Industries Limited, Habib Bank Limited, Meezan Bank Limited, Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited, and United Bank Limited, respectively.

Following the re-composition, Pakistan Refinery Limited holds the largest weight in the index at 15.13%, followed by Cnergyico PK Limited at 13.72% and Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited at 13.06%.

The aforementioned information was disseminated through a notification to Exchange.
