PRL, CNERGY, PSO join JSMFI in latest re-composition

November 06, 2026 (MLN): The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has re-composed the JS Momentum Factor Index (JSMFI), bringing in eight new companies and dropping eight, with the changes to take effect from Friday, November 6, 2026.

The incoming companies are Pakistan Refinery Limited, Cnergyico PK Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited, Ghandhara Industries Limited, Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited, Treet Corporation Limited, MCB Bank Limited and Thatta Cement Company Limited.

According to a notice issued by the exchange, the re-composition exercise was carried out as of October 30, 2026, in line with the relevant index rules available on the PSX website.

The outgoing companies are National Refinery Limited, Attock Refinery Limited, Mari Energies Limited, Engro Holdings Limited, Pakistan Oilfields Limited, TRG Pakistan Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company Limited and Javedan Corporation Limited.

Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) and Cnergyico PK Limited (CNERGY) hold the highest weight at 20% each, followed by Pakistan State Oil Company Limited (PSO) at 18.98%, Fauji Fertilizer Company Limited (FFC) at 10.40% and Thatta Cement Company Limited (THCCL) at 10.07%.

The remaining constituents are Askari Bank Limited (AKBL) at 4.89%, MCB Bank Limited (MCB) at 4.69%, Ghandhara Industries Limited (GHNI) at 4.37%, Engro Fertilizers Limited (EFERT) at 4.03% and Treet Corporation Limited (TREET) at 2.58%.
