November 04, 2025 (MLN): The benchmark KSE-100 Index concluded Tuesday's trading session at 161,281.76, showing a decrease of 1,521.39 points or 0.93%.

The index traded in a range of 2,225.69 points showing an intraday high of 163,384.95 (+581.80) and a low of 161,159.26 (-1,643.89) points.

The total volume of the KSE-100 Index was 321.60 million shares.

 

Of the 100 index companies 17 closed up, 81 closed down, while 2 were unchanged.

Top losers during the day were TRG (-9.38%), KTML (-5.84%), SSGC (-4.41%), PSX (-3.70%), and PKGP (-3.59%).

On the other hand, top gainers were DHPL (+10.00%), PSEL (+9.62%), KEL (+4.35%), TPLRF1 (+3.71%), and PGLC (+3.43%).

 

In terms of index-point contributions, companies that dragged the index lower were ENGROH (-119.81pts), MARI (-119.20pts), BAHL (-116.58pts), MCB (-96.82pts), and TRG (-91.30pts).

Meanwhile, companies that added points to the index were FFC (+253.86pts), PSEL (+121.07pts), DHPL (+53.80pts), MTL (+23.34pts), and KEL (+21.58pts).

 

Sector-wise, KSE-100 Index was let down by Commercial Banks (-722.32pts), Oil & Gas Exploration Companies (-263.68pts), Cement (-175.44pts), Technology & Communication (-148.39pts), and Inv. Banks / Inv. Cos. / Securities Cos. (-94.11pts).

While the index was supported by Fertilizer (+156.75pts), Miscellaneous (+110.48pts), Real Estate Investment Trust (+16.86pts), Leasing Companies (+0.18pts), and Woollen (+0.07pts).

 

In the broader market, the All-Share Index closed at 50,788.50 with a net loss of 487.24 points or 0.95%.

Total market volume was 899.41 million shares compared to 949.36m from the previous session while traded value was recorded at Rs37.31 billion showing a decrease of Rs10.27bn.

There were 392,694 trades reported in 479 companies with 133 closing up, 314 closing down, and 32 remaining unchanged.

To note, the KSE-100 has gained 35,654 points or 28.38% during the fiscal year, whereas it has increased 46,155 points or 40.09% so far this calendar year.
