PSX Closing Bell: Bull Finds Its Horns

December 01, 2025 MLN: KSE100 Index closed Monday's trading session at 168,062.19 showing an increase of 0.83 percent or 1384.5 points.

The index traded in a range of 2221.43 points showing an intraday high of 168,246.22 (+1568.52) and a low of 166,024.79 (-652.91) points.

Total Volume of the KSE100 Index was 306.602 million shares.

Of the 100 index companies 67 closed up, 30 closed down while 3 were unchanged.

KSE100 index was supported by Oil & Gas Exploration Companies with 267.21, Power Generation & Distribution with 265.29, Cement with 236.7, Technology & Communication with 167.86 and Miscellaneous with 66.34 points.

Companies adding points to the index were HUBC with 248.34, OGDC with 128.76, LUCK with 106.43, MARI with 70.83 and MCB with 67.39 points.

KSE100 Index was let down by Pharmaceuticals with 8.18, Chemical with 7.62, Automobile Assembler with 6.51, Paper, Board & Packaging with 4.08 and Modarabas with 1.03 points.

Companies dragging the index lower were NBP with 61.29, MEBL with 51.82, BAFL with 17.16, FFC with 14.83 and SAZEW with 12.58 points.

In the broader market, the All-Share index closed at 101,185.19 with a net gain of 876.07 points.

Total market volume was 735.521 million shares compared to 592.747 million from the previous session while traded value being recorded at 46.19 billion showing an increase of Rs.4.22 billion.

There was 400,243 trades reported in 483 companies with 277 closing up, 162 closing down and 44 remaining unchanged.
