June 12, 2026 (MLN): Pakistan’s mediation efforts between the United States and Iran have brought the peace process to a decisive stage, with a final mutually agreed text of the peace deal now in place between the two sides.

In a post on X, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif noted that Pakistan remains fully aware of an ongoing misinformation campaign aimed at undermining the peace process.

He stressed that, despite such attempts, Islamabad continues to work constructively to ensure the agreement reaches completion.

Shehbaz Sharif highlighted that Pakistan is closely coordinating with both Washington and Tehran to finalize the remaining steps required for implementation, adding that peace has never been closer than it is now.
